BASS Gold Engages in Greening the Ushshoky Mine

Employees of BASS Gold, a part of BASS Holding, have initiated the planting of trees at the Ushshoky mine in the Ulytau region, as reported by the Holding's PR department. A total of 207 saplings were planted, enhancing the area of the mine, including the administrative and residential building, laboratory, and explosive materials warehouse. It is worth noting that for the successful acclimatization of all trees, the local soil was completely replaced with specially imported soil enriched with black soil. Currently, responsible workers are assigned to each shift to monitor the trees, water them, and care for them according to a special instruction. In spring, the subcontractor plans to visit the mine to shape the crowns and apply fertilizers according to the plan. Both mine employees and the holding plan to support this tree-planting initiative on a regular basis, adhering to the company's principles and values in caring for the environment and improving the ecological situation in our country.
